Some days of sunlight and mild temperatures, but primarily overcast days with rain this week. Daily temperatures ranged between 18°C – 25°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 8°C - 12°C.
Reasonable volumes harvested.
Quality is good. Fruit size is small medium – medium. Ripeness is backward - half colour.
We received some sunny days this week which helped accelerate the productivity of the plants along with our plant care efforts. We have focussed on stripping the plants of excess leaves to help the fruit at the top of plant to begin to take size as well as pruning to ensure that the plant and fruit are receiving optimal levels of sunlight. Overall, we are pleased with how the plants and fruit are looking from a quality and health perspective.
