We are noticing good fruit set that should gives us strong volumes.Mostly sunny days throughout the week. Daily temperatures ranged between 22°C – 32°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 13°C - 16°C.
Larger volumes harvested.
Quality is good. Fruit size is mainly small/medium – medium. Ripeness is quarter – half colour.
We have been harvesting larger volumes this week, as the greater sunlight and warmer temperatures have been a welcome change. The quality of the tomatoes remains optimal and our latest crop in particular is performing very nicely. We are noticing good fruit set that should gives us strong harvest volumes when we harvest from this latest crop in approx. 4 weeks.
