Extreme hot days which have affected the quality and yield of the tomatoes. We have re planted the greenhouses.Monday provided a break from the extremely hot weather while the rest of the week produced temperatures between 35 and 43 degrees.
As previously forecast a good percentage of tomatoes have been affected by the extreme heat, therefore reducing the number of good quality tomatoes harvested.
Quality tomatoes are available at lower volumes
We have replanted the greenhouses which are forecast to be harvesting in mid-April.
