We missed three days of picking due to rain.Cloudy days with rain that cleared up later in the week. Daily temperatures ranged between 22°C – 27°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 11°C - 19°C.
We have harvested much lower volumes due to the rain. We have started picking again, however with 3 days missed.
The quality post rain seems to be good considering we’ve had 70mm. Fortunately the weather is cool which will help with quality.
We missed three days of picking due to rain. The pre rain application of rain protectants paid off as we see no splitting or water marking on the fruit. Volumes will ease as the full moon has passed.
