Good size, colour, firmness and quality fruit is being achieved.Sunny, warm nights and hot days. Daily temperatures ranged between 16°C – 30°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 14°C - 18°C.
Good volumes harvested this week. Volumes should increase in the coming week.
Quality is looking much better.
The warmer weather has kicked in, and plants have responded well to the fertigation. As a result, size, colour, firmness and quality fruit is being achieved. What remains important is to continue with the crop monitoring and maintenance as well as controlling the pest activity which is an issue in the Bowen region.
