Our fresher patches are still giving quality product.Couple of days with rain and strong wind. Overnight temperatures ranged between 15 to 19 degrees. Daily temperatures ranged between 20 to 31 degrees.
Quantities have increased.
Quality is harder to maintain.
A very hard week on the farm. Friday night gave us 50mm to 80mm of rain, followed up by two hot 31° days. We then have a 12° night, cool days & more hot weather. We have closed down two more patches due to poor quality. Our fresher patches are still giving quality product & should continue until the end October to first week in November.
