Due to the current weather we have found it challenging.Sunny and hot days with hot nights. Daily temperatures ranging between 24°C - 33°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 18°C - 21°C.
Small numbers harvested.
Quality is holding up well.
Due to the current weather we have found it challenging to pick reasonable numbers of fruit that are of good size, quality and colour. The constant hot days, heavy dews and high humidity have begun to challenge our crops and growing strategies. If this continues we will have to finish our season earlier than expected.
