Some of the crops have been affected by the excessive rain.Partly cloudy days with warm temperatures and considerable rain later in the week. Daily temperatures ranged between 30°C – 34°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 21°C - 25°C.
Smaller volumes harvested.
Quality is reasonable.
This week has been very challenging due to the excessive rain that we continue to receive. Some of the crops have been affected and this has seen a decline in harvest volumes as well the quality of the romas. We forecast that we will see some improvement in the coming days and weeks as less rain is predicted.
