The good news is that the warmer temperatures are helping.Very hot days with cool nights. Daily temperatures ranged between 13°C - 37°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 9°C - 15°C.
Low volumes harvested.
Quality is looking good.
The good news is that the warmer temperatures are helping the crops move on from their hibernation stage. We do not know yet if the current weather conditions will do more good than bad though, as the large gap between day and night temperatures can compromise fruit quality. To manage this, we have had to change our plant care and feeding strategies to minimise any impact.
