Very slow going this week, with 65mm of rain and hail.Significant rainfall and hail this week. Daily temperatures ranged between 26°C – 38°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 12°C - 18°C.
Smaller volumes harvested.
Quality is reasonable.
Very slow going this week, with 65mm of rain and hail. There has been crop damage to our late plantings which should recover. Our earlier plantings however, wont recover for some weeks for and as a result larger quantities are still some weeks away. The fruit that has been harvested and packed is still quite good, but we have had to reject a larger portion due to rain and hail damage.
