With the rain now ceasing, we can start harvesting.Overcast days with winds. Daily temperatures ranged between 12°C - 18°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 5°C - 9°C.
Small volumes harvested.
Quality of the fruit is good.
This week it has been difficult. Rain and cold temperatures have almost stopped us from harvesting. With the rain now ceasing, we can start harvesting, but there are still very cold temperatures forecast for the coming week, some reaching as low as 0°C. This is pushing us to pick everything within the next 10 days along with the commencing of our end of season clean up process.
