We have had a very challenging start to the season.Mainly warm and sunny days throughout the week. Daily temperatures ranged between 21°C - 32°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 15°C - 20°C.
Smaller volumes harvested.
The quality of the fruit is very good. Size is medium. Ripeness is ½ - ¾ colour.
We have had a very challenging start to the season. The heat and extreme wind last week have affected the older crops and has led to some losses. We will see to what extent as the weeks progress, particularly with respect to the younger crops which have seemingly held up ok. We have still been harvesting and the quality of the fruit is quite good considering what the plants and fruit have endured over the past week.
