We are harvesting larger volumes and fruit is very good in size.Warm, but fluctuating temperatures throughout the week. Daily temperatures ranged between 20°C - 36°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 9°C - 20°C.
Larger volumes harvested.
The quality of the fruit is very good. Size is medium – medium/large. Ripeness is ½ - ¾ colour.
We have been continuing with the usual picking, pruning and twisting. The current heatwave has provided its challenges and we are still seeing some heavy fluctuations in temperatures, but the plants have held up very well. We are harvesting larger volumes and the fruit itself is very good in size and firmness.
