Mixed weather conditions, sunny and windy days changed to overcast days with isolated showers and windy nights towards the end of the week. Temperatures are ranging between 9 to 14 degrees overnight and 16 to 23 degrees during the day.
We have picked reasonable quantities this week. The picking schedule is gradually progressing towards a regular pattern. The winds we are experiencing are causing a drastic change of humidity levels in the glasshouse from day to night, therefore we are constantly monitoring it’s levels and making sure the plants are maintaining their health.
Red and yellow capsicums are in short supply, mainly due to problems which South Australia experienced through the growing season. Our quantities we expect will increase late next week. Green capsicums will also tighten, mainly due to Queensland crops easing up.
