Hot sunny days early in the week have turned into warm rainy days, with the possibility of continuing until Monday. Temperatures ranged between 16 to 19 degrees overnight and 27 to 46 degrees during the day.
The very hot weather we’ve had has slightly affected the quality of the fruit. This stage, volumes have not been impacted.
Luckily, we’ve had minimum damage to fruit and flowers. Plants are healthy and are looking good. If the predicted rainfall eventuates it will affect our shade cloth plantations, which are due for harvest later next week.
