We are forecast to receive 4-5 days of temperatures above 40°C.Mostly sunny days with fluctuating temperatures and extreme heat. Daily temperatures ranged between 20°C - 41°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 15°C - 24°C.
Harvest volumes have remained steady.
The quality of the fruit is excellent. Size is medium – medium/large. Ripeness is ½ colour.
Much of this week has been focussed on managing the stress of the plants. We are forecast to receive 4-5 days of temperatures above 40°C so much of our activity this week has been managing water and nutrient uptake. Harvesting from the C houses is now complete and we are harvesting from E, F and G houses. The FW houses will commence this coming week and production will be back to normal quantities.
