Hot sunny days with high temperatures. Working one day a head, good quantities harvested.
Weather: Mixed weather conditions from sunny to overcast days with 3.8mm of rain. Temperature ranging between 20 to 25 degrees overnight and 34 to 46 degrees during the day.
Harvest: Due to the extreme heat we are harvesting early morning, colour stage picked is slightly backward to maintain the quality and the integrity of the fruit.
Quality: Quality of the tomatoes at present are good
Activity: Due to the extreme hot weather conditions we are working one day ahead to maintain the quality of the fruit. If the weather conditions continue it will reduce the quantities of tomatoes available in the weeks to come. For now our quantities have not been drastically affected, however we are struggling to fulfil 100% of orders.
