We are allowing the fruit more time to take colour on the plant.Sunny, hot days with showers forecast over the weekend. Overnight temperatures ranged between 15 to 19 degrees. Daily temperatures ranged between 23 to 31 degrees.
Quantities have fallen away sharply due to patches being closed.
Quality is harder to maintain at present because of warmer days, cooler nights and high humidity.
We are allowing the fruit more time to take colour on the plant. This should go along way to eliminating quality issues down the track.
