It looks like the very high temperatures are going to persist.Extremely hot days. Daily temperatures ranged between 18°C - 46°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 16°C - 23°C.
Smaller numbers harvested.
Quality is holding up ok considering the weather conditions.
It looks like the very high temperatures are going to persist. It has been an extremely hot summer so far, which has pushed us to change our harvesting schedule and growing strategies. We are now at our 4th week with extremely hot temperatures, which are starting to impact harvest volumes, quality and plant health.
