We are still harvesting, albeit in smaller volumes.
Cloudy days with fluctuating temperatures throughout the week. Daily temperatures ranged between 16°C - 28°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 3°C - 11°C.
Smaller volumes harvested.
Fruit quality is good. Fruit size is medium Ripeness is ½ - ¾.
We have experienced predominately cloudy days and cooler overnight temperatures, which has led to considerable morning dew. We are still harvesting, albeit in smaller volumes, but fruit is showing good colour and size. The plants are still ripening the fruit at a healthy rate, but we are constantly adjusting our fertigation to ensure that this continues throughout the colder months.

The colder weather and less sunlight has continued into this week. As mentioned last week, we can see the end of our capsicum season and anticipate to be harvesting for another 5 weeks.

We have just planted out patch 6.
Mostly sunny days with light showers throughout the week. Daily temperatures ranged between 27°C – 32°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 14°C – 21°C.

We have just planted out patch 6 with patch 7 due to be planted in 10 days. Patch 1 has had the second string and patch 2 is not far behind. Flower set is prolific across the first 3 patches. Weather has been excellent and looks to remain the same.

Mostly cloudy days, but some sunlight throughout the week. Daily temperatures ranged between 15°C – 26°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 3°C – 8°C.
Less volumes harvested.
Fruit quality is good. Fruit size is medium. Ripeness is ½ - ¾ colour.
The final pick for patch 6 was conducted this week. Patches 7 and 8 have responded well to plant care and fruit is ripening up well. Patch 9 is producing good fruit on its first few picks.

It has been a steady week with cooler days and nights.
Mostly cloudy days and some sunlight throughout the week. Daily temperatures ranged between 16°C - 23°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 5°C - 14°C.

Fruit quality is good. Fruit size is medium. Ripeness is ½ - ¾.
It has been a steady week with cooler days and nights. We are continuing to see a slight lull in plant productivity due to these cooler temperatures as we head into winter, but quality remans optimal. Pests and disease activity is under control and at a minimum, but is still a priority as these conditions bring on greater activity.

We can see the end of our capsicum season now.
Cloudy days throughout the week with cooler temperatures. Daily temperatures ranged between 15°C – 21°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 6°C – 10°C.
Harvest volumes are lower than last week. They should increase slightly toward the end of the week.
Fruit quality is very good.
We can see the end of our capsicum season now. We envisage that we will be finished within 6 weeks. We will still be harvesting tomatoes right through the winter months with the new planting already showing good flower set. Our second planting is coming into full production in the next 2 weeks.

Patch 5 has been planted and doing well.

Patch 5 has been planted and doing well. Patch 1 and 2 are stacked with fruit and patch 1 specifically being stringed up this week. The first prunings are also being performed. Patch 6 will be transplanted late next week.

The crops have been coming along well this week.

The crops have been coming along well this week. Patch 6 has one pick remaining. Patch 7 and 8 have multiple picks remaining and have received plant care in order to optimise ripening. Our final patch (patch 9) has now commenced with 2 clean up picks being performed.

Cloudy days throughout the week. Daily temperatures ranged between 19°C - 22°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 7°C - 12°C.

We have experienced less sunlight and cooler days this week. We have harvested larger volumes than we were initially expecting and our plant maintenance has certainly helped manage the recent changes in weather. Our planning for next season is still underway. We will most likely begin transplanting earlier next season.

Patch 5 will be planted out early next week. All patches are doing extremely well with optimal weather conditions helping out. We are preparing the ground for the second half of our season along with starting work in getting the packing shed ready for the 2024 season.

Similarly to last week, we have remained very busy harvesting multiple patches. Harvest volumes are still large and should remain so over the next week. We are due to begin harvesting from our final patch next week. Quality has remained optimal and is still holding up well.

Overall we are pleased with how everything is progressing.
Mostly sunny days this week with cool overnight temperatures. Daily temperatures ranged between 23°C – 34°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 5°C - 17°C.
Reasonable volumes harvested.
Fruit quality is good. Fruit size is medium – medium/large. Ripeness is ½ - ¾ colour.
The cooler overnight temperatures have lead to the modest harvest volumes, but are still consistent with last week, so we aren’t experiencing any volume drops. Quality remains good and overall we are pleased with how everything is progressing on the farm. We are also continuing with our scheduling for next season.

Mostly sunny days throughout the week. Daily temperatures ranged between 19°C – 23°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 6°C – 14°C.

Fruit quality is good.
We have harvested yellow and red capsicums this week, although not in large volumes. We forecast that volumes will increase as we are seeing the top of the plants loaded with a good set of capsicums.

The earlier patches are doing very well.
Partly cloudy days with light showers throughout the week. Daily temperatures ranged between 28°C – 32°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 22°C – 25°C.

Patch 3 was planted out this week. The earlier patches are doing very well and the light showers we’ve been having has also been good for the young plantings. Seeding is still going on and we are now preparing the ground for the later part of our 2024 season.

Mostly sunny days this week. Daily temperatures ranged between 23°C – 30°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 7°C – 13°C.

We are very happy with how things are progressing on the farm this week. Harvest volumes and quality are where we want them to be. We will begin harvesting from patch 9 early - mid April. All other patches are coming along nicely.

Sunny days with warmer temperatures throughout the week. Daily temperatures ranged between 18°C – 34°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 9°C - 20°C.

Fruit quality is good. Fruit size is medium. Ripeness is ½ - ¾ colour.
We have had cooler temperatures this week, which in turn lead to a decrease in plant productivity and harvest volumes. This has allowed the plants to rest as they were producing larger volumes due to the consistently warm temperatures we were receiving throughout the days. Quality and size of the fruit is still optimal. We are also in early stages of scheduling for next season.

We are still seeing green capsicum development.
Mostly sunny days with some showers throughout the week and fluctuating overnight temperatures. Daily temperatures ranged between 16°C – 25°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 5°C – 19°C.

Fruit quality is good.
We have had consistent weather throughout the days, but overnight temperatures have been fluctuating considerably. This has hindered plant productivity as we aren’t seeing much improvement with harvest volumes. We are still seeing green capsicum development and harvesting more yellow capsicums at the moment.

Patch 2 was planted out this week. Patch 3 is scheduled to be planted mid next week. The few showers we’ve had have helped the new plant growth as they have adapted quickly to their new environment.

The farm is progressing well.
Mostly sunny days with some showers and wind throughout the week. Daily temperatures ranged between 18°C – 30°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 6°C – 16°C.

Fruit quality is excellent. Fruit size is medium. Ripeness is ½ - ¾ colour.
The farm is progressing well and we have been busy harvesting large volumes. The milder weather following on from last week’s heat has produced ideal harvest conditions. We are currently harvesting from patch 5, 6 and 7 with patch 8 being a week away.

Warmer temperatures and humidity helped bring on volumes
Cloudy days with hot temperatures and showers later in the week. Daily temperatures ranged between 23°C – 40°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 17°C - 26°C.
Larger volumes harvested.
Fruit quality is good. Fruit size is medium. Ripeness is ¾ colour - colour.
The warmer temperatures and higher humidity have helped bring on larger harvest volumes. The crops in the E, F and G groups of houses are all presenting great quality fruit. We have just completed harvesting out of 2 houses from the FW group with another 2 remaining.
