The plants are looking very good.Cool and wet start to the week, followed by warmer conditions. Daily temperatures ranged between 17°C – 26°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 4°C – 17°C.

The plants are looking very good and we are starting to see some very promising fruit set. Despite the fluctuating weather conditions as well as increased pest activity in the area, we really haven’t been affected. The hot days are still causing the plants to shoot up slightly quicker than normal, but this is our only challenge that we currently have to manage.

We now have two plantings in ground.Significant cooling earlier in the week, followed by a strong warm-up and potential rainfall. Daily temperatures ranged between 18°C – 29°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 5.1°C – 18.1°C.

We now have two plantings in ground and they have established very nicely. We are looking at planting our third patch next week, but will be keeping an eye on predicted rain. Pest and disease pressure has been low as well.

The plants are continuing to develop well.Strong warmth early in the week, followed by a significant cool-down and weekend showers. Daily temperatures ranged between 17°C – 31.3°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 9°C – 18°C.

The plants are continuing to develop well. They have been shooting up a bit quicker than we would prefer due to the overcast days, but overall, we are very happy. We performed our third prune of the first patch this week.

We performed our final pick on Monday.Consistently warm, with humid conditions and showers. Daily temperatures ranged between 27°C – 30°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 20°C – 22°C.

We performed our final pick on Monday and that is the end of our 2026 season. We are now cleaning up all the old patches and starting to prepare ground for 2027.

This coming week will be our final pick for 2026.Warm days and nights with an increase in showers and humidity. Daily temperatures ranged between 28°C – 30.4°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 19.3°C – 23.4°C.
Smaller volumes harvested.
Quality of the fruit is okay. Size is small/medium - medium. Ripeness is ½ - ¾ colour.
This coming week will be our final pick for 2026 if the forecasted rain arrives, If not, we will finish on the last week of October.

This week we performed our second prune.Quite the temperature variability this week. Some very cold nights while temperatures will warm up later in the week. Daily temperatures ranged between 18.5°C – 32.6°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 1.9°C – 14°C.

This week we performed our second prune of the plants and can see the second truss forming quite well. Overall, the plants are showing great signs of early development even with the fluctuating temperatures.
