We are still seeing fruit colouring up.Mostly cloudy days with cooler overnight temperatures. Daily temperatures ranged between 17°C - 23°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 2°C - 8°C.
Smaller volumes harvested.
Fruit quality is good. Fruit size is medium. Ripeness is ½ - ¾ colour.
The cloudy days and cooler overnight temperatures have led to a slow down in plant productivity this week. Due to the cooler overnight temperatures we are seeing some cracking on the shoulders of the tomatoes, but for the most part, quality has not been affected. We are still seeing fruit colouring up and we are still harvesting reasonable volumes, but slightly less than previous weeks.
