The overnight temperatures are cooling down.
Sunny days. Daily temperatures ranged between 10°C - 19°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 3°C - 7°C.
Good volumes harvested.
Great quality fruit.
The overnight temperatures are cooling down, but the sunnier days have led to an increase in volumes harvested. We are coming to the end of the season within the next 2-3 weeks. We are now preparing and scheduling the 2018-2019 season.

We are busy now in the nursery maintaining optimal conditions.
Overcast days with rain. Daily temperatures ranged between 3°C - 15°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 0°C - 5°C.
Small numbers harvested.
Quality is still holding up well.
Within a week our 2017-2018 season will conclude and we will then begin to clean out the glasshouse. We are busy now in the nursery maintaining optimal conditions for seed germination.

Volumes of Gourmet and Heirloom Tomatoes have increased.

Quality is good.
Volumes of Gourmet and Heirloom Tomatoes have increased. This is primarily due to the ideal growing conditions that we have experienced throughout the week. We are hoping this remains consistent until the end of the crop.

Patch 8 was planted this week. The seedlings are looking very good, and adjusting to the new growing environment. Due to the pest activity that the Bowen region is experiencing, we have had to intensify and adjust our pest control strategies. This is paying dividends as pest activity on our farm is a minimal. The first harvest should take place this coming weekend with all staff in place and packhouse ready to go.

Quality is reasonable.
The much cooler overnight temperatures we had over the week is impeding the fruit to ripen at our ideal pace. Our next patch, however, through our current harvest is looking very good and showing great signs of quality, shape and shine.

The variety planted for the end of season is preforming very well.
Cloudy mornings with cool nights. Daily temperatures ranged between 12°C - 25°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 6°C - 10°C.
Larger volumes harvested this week.
Quality is excellent.
The warmer growing conditions have contributed to the increase in numbers harvested. The variety planted for the end of the season is preforming very well and has proven to be resilient to harsh weather.

We are into the last month of our harvest for this season
Cloudy and rainy days early in the week. Daily temperatures ranged between 5°C - 16°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 1°C - 6°C.
Smaller numbers harvested.
Quality is looking very good.
We are into the last month of our harvest for this season and numbers harvested will slow up. The nursery however, is now in full swing. The 1st seed lot were sowed on the 28 of may.

We have started our preparation for next season.

Quality is excellent.
We have started our preparation for next season. The seeds for the Oxheart, Strawberry, Flat, Yellow, Pink and Red varieties have now been sowed and should be ready for transplanting by the 19-20 of July.

Growing conditions have not been favourable for the plants.
Sunny and warm days. Daily temperatures ranging between 18°C - 28°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 14°C - 18°C.
Numbers harvested are minimal.
The number of fruit making it in the premium boxes are smaller than anticipated.
Throughout the development of the first three patches, growing conditions have not been favourable for the plants and the fruit. This has caused our current numbers to become challenged. The current growing conditions, however should allow our latest planting to come into production soon, which will increase evidently our production levels.

We anticipate, with the current full moon and slightly warmer weather, that the fruit will mature quicker and enable us to begin harvesting by the end of next week. Crops, overall are looking good and fruit on the plants are good in quality, shape and size.

Everything is going well so far. The plants are looking good as is the fruit. The cooler weather has restricted the maturing of the fruit, but we expect our quantity to increase over the next couple of weeks.

All farm activities are proceeding as per forecast.

All farm activities are proceeding as per forecast. The ripening process of the fruit is taking a little longer due to a lack of sunlight. The nursery is now ready, first sewing will take place the 28th of this month.

The continuous overcast days and cold temperatures have slowed down our harvesting pattern. The fruit itself is looking very good as it is kept longer on the plants therefore taking on a slightly larger size and stronger flavour.

Our pre-harvest activities are proceeding as per schedule. We have begun preparation of the packing shed, and we just finished upgrading our sorting/grading machine. With weather permitted, we will begin to harvest within 3 weeks.

We are currently harvesting the first three patches planted, which have unfortunately not produced high volumes of premium quality fruit. Although when patch 4 and 5 will come into production our numbers will increase. The full moon approaching on the 29th May should accelerate this process.

Current growing conditions has provided challenges, although, we are managing the plants in order to harvest larger volumes then originally anticipated. If the weather remains consistent we will remain in production for another 4 to 5 weeks.

We are approaching the closing stages of the plant life cycle.
Mostly overcast, with cold days and nights. Daily temperatures ranged between 5°C - 17°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 0°C - 5°C.
Volumes for the week were very similar to last.
Quality is looking excellent considering the weather conditions.
We are approaching the closing stages of the plant life cycle. The plants however, are loaded with fruit, and are looking very strong and healthy. We will remain in production for another 4 to 5 weeks.

Everything is proceeding well.

Volumes picked are good.
Quality is good. Oxheart however, are showing signs of blotchiness due to the cooler temperatures, but this a regular occurrence for this variety.
Everything is proceeding well. This week we will cut the tops off of the Gourmet plants, which will give us another 6 weeks of good harvest as the plants are loaded with good quality fruit. Oxheart, Otello and Strawberry Tomatoes, have also seen their volumes increase this week.

Quality is very good considering the current weather.
This week we will be performing our last harvest of the season. At the moment the fruit on the bush is looking very good in quality, shape, size and shine.
